We earn commissions — plainly stated

ExploreAwaits is an affiliate travel agency. When you book travel through our partner links or widgets, the partner pays us a commission. The price you pay is the partner's normal price — the commission comes out of the partner's margin, never out of your pocket. This page explains what that means for your information.

What we collect

• Trip requests: when you use the Plan my trip form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and the trip details you provide — destinations, dates, number of travelers, budget, interests, and notes.
• Deals list: if you join the deals list, we keep your email address to send you partner deals.
• Support correspondence: emails you send us.

How affiliate links work

• Our booking links and widgets carry a referral marker. When you follow one to a partner — for example Aviasales for flights or Trip.com for hotels — the partner can tell the booking came from ExploreAwaits, so they can pay our commission.
• On the partner's site, the partner's own privacy policy governs your data, including your booking and payment details. Partners may set their own cookies, including attribution cookies that remember your booking came from us.
• We never receive your payment card details. Checkout happens entirely on the partner's site.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data. We don't share trip requests with advertisers.
• This site uses no tracking cookies of its own. (Partner sites you choose to visit may use their own — see above.)

Data retention & deletion

Trip requests are kept while we plan and support your trip, and for a reasonable period after in case you travel with us again. Deals-list emails are kept until you ask to be removed. Email us anytime and we'll delete your information.
