Honest account of how ExploreAwaits handles your information — written for travelers, not auditors.
What's in place today
- We never take payment. ExploreAwaits charges travelers nothing, so we never ask for, see, or store payment card details. Every booking is paid on the partner's own site, under the partner's security and terms.
- Trip-request data is minimal: your name, email, and the trip details you send us — nothing more. We use them to build your itinerary and reply to you.
- Access is limited: trip requests are visible only to the people planning trips at ExploreAwaits. We don't sell request data or share it with advertisers.
- Transport: the service is designed to run behind TLS; trip requests should only ever be submitted over HTTPS once the site is hosted.
- Partner links: outbound booking links carry a referral marker so partners can attribute your booking and pay our commission. That's described fully in the privacy policy.
What we don't claim
- We are a small, new agency. We have no SOC 2 certification and have not completed a third-party penetration test, and we won't pretend otherwise.
- We can't vouch for a partner's security practices — bookings, payments, and your data on partner sites are governed by each partner's own policies.
